About This Recipe

Winter vegetables roasted with a touch of a spicy tomato accents for a delightful fall treat for dinner. The bacon adds a crispy crunch and flavor that bring all of the flavors together. So Good!

Mi Sauce - Roasted Butternut Squash & Bacon
Ingredients

2 lbs. Brussel spouts

1.5 lb. butternut squash peeled & sliced

1 medium white onion

11/2  tsp TVF Lavender Pepper or salt & pepper of choice

1/2 tsp red pepper, if using

1 Tsp TVF MI Sauce

1/2 lb. smokey bacon  - MI optional

1 tbsp vegetable oil

Preparation

Instructions

Combine the butternut squash, onions, and Brussel sprouts.

Season with TVF Lavender Pepper (or salt, black pepper,) and red pepper flakes, if using.

Add oil & TVF MI Sauce to vegetables and toss the ingredients.

Pour in a bake dish or cookie sheet.

Chop the bacon and scatter over the vegetables.

Roast, uncovered, in the oven for 20 minutes on 400 F.

Remove from the oven and add to a serving dish.
